Why Is the Margin Estimated?
In some instances, the engine margin will be calculated. This
means that the performance margin is NOT derived from FAA approved data. The margin is
an ESTIMATED margin that is EXTRAPOLATED from the FAA approved data. In
these cases, the performance numbers that have been entered have been outside
the perimeter of the OEM chart.
Why Doesn't StandardAero PowerCheck™ Calculate the Parameters I
If the performance numbers that have been entered are well
outside the perimeter of the OEM power assurance chart, this software will
not calculate a margin and will display OFF THE CHART
If StandardAero PowerCheck™ produces this message, it is possible that the
performance data numbers entered are incorrect. Please check your numbers
and re-enter them if required. Reset the entry form and click the
CALCULATE button once again.
If you have persistent problems with your data being "OFF THE CHART",
